Quick answer

Each 2-capsule serving of Neuro Recall lists folate 600 mcg DFE, vitamin B12 240 mcg, magnesium 250 mg and chromium 120 mcg, plus a 635 mg blend of ten ingredients with no single amounts. Neuro Recall Supplement Facts panel beside the bottle

What does the Neuro Recall Supplement Facts panel show?

It shows a serving of 2 capsules, 30 servings per bottle, exact amounts for four vitamins and minerals, and one 635 mg blend of ten ingredients with no single amounts. Tap each numbered dot to read that part of the panel.

Neuro Recall Supplement Facts panel listing serving size, folate, vitamin B12, magnesium, chromium, the WMG-NVT Exclusive Blend and other ingredients, beside the bottle
  1. Serving Size: 2 Capsules Servings per container: 30. Every amount below is for 2 capsules together, not one.
  2. Folate 600 mcg DFE Printed as 600 mcg DFE from 320 mcg folic acid. DFE is a unit that adjusts for how well folic acid is absorbed.
  3. Vitamin B12, 10,000% 240 mcg of cyanocobalamin. The large percentage reflects a small Daily Value, not a danger.
  4. Magnesium 250 mg As magnesium oxide. That uses most of the 350 mg daily limit for magnesium from supplements.
  5. WMG-NVT Exclusive Blend, 635 mg Ten ingredients share this weight. The panel gives no single amounts.
  6. Standardized extracts Bacopa is at not less than 20% bacosides and green tea at not less than 50% EGCG. These are floors, not amounts.
  7. The double dagger It means Daily Value not established. No blend ingredient has a Daily Value.
  8. Other ingredients BSE-free gelatin for the capsule, rice flour, silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate.
  9. The picture beside the panel Berries, cinnamon sticks and leaves are illustration. They show no amounts.

What does the order of the blend list tell you?

It hints at the largest and smallest parts. FDA labeling rules list blend ingredients from most to least by weight, so cinnamon bark extract, listed first, should be the biggest share (FDA, Dietary Supplement Labeling Guide, Ch. IV).

That rule also caps each later ingredient. The fourth item can be at most a quarter of 635 mg, because the three above it must each weigh at least as much. The table shows those ceilings next to the doses used in studies.

Ceilings from the list order (our arithmetic; the real amounts are lower and not printed)
Place in listIngredientMost it could beStudied daily dose
1Cinnamon bark extract635 mgNo memory dose studied
2Ginkgo biloba leaf extract317 mg240 mg
3Bilberry fruit extract211 mgNo memory dose studied
4Bacopa monnieri extract158 mg300 to 450 mg
5Green tea leaf extract127 mg9 to 300 mg of EGCG in trials
6Berberine HCl105 mgNo memory dose studied
7L-theanine90 mg50 to 400 mg, median 200 mg
8Alpha lipoic acid79 mgNo memory dose studied
9Alpha-GPC (GPC choline)70 mg1,200 mg, in dementia only
10Lutein and zeaxanthin63 mg10 mg + 2 mg
What the ceilings show: Even at its ceiling, bacopa would be about half of the 300 mg low end used in trials, and alpha-GPC about a seventeenth of its studied dose. This only holds if the label follows the order rule; the brand has not published single amounts to confirm it.

What each of these ingredients was studied for is on the how Neuro Recall works page.

Which brand claims does the label itself back up?

Only the plain facts: the capsule count, the serving and the four printed nutrients. The quality and origin lines appear on brand graphics, not on the panel, and nothing published backs them yet.

What do the % Daily Values on the panel mean?

A % Daily Value compares the amount to a reference intake for one day. It is not a safety limit, so a big percentage is not automatically a risk, and a small one is not automatically too little.

Daily Values next to upper limits
NutrientPer serving% DV printedAdult upper limitWhat it means
Folate600 mcg DFE150%1,000 mcg folic acid (NIH ODS, Folate (health professional))320 mcg of folic acid is about a third of the limit
Vitamin B12240 mcg10,000%None set (NIH ODS, Vitamin B12 (health professional))Large on paper; no limit exists because harm is unlikely
Magnesium250 mg60%350 mg from supplementsMost of the supplement limit in one serving
Chromium120 mcg343%None set (NIH ODS, Chromium (health professional))Deficiency is not seen in healthy people

The folate line is quoted as printed. We do not recalculate DFE, because the conversion depends on whether the capsules are taken with food. For B12, more is not better in people whose levels are normal.

What are the other ingredients, and who should check them?

Four other ingredients make up the capsule and help it fill evenly. One of them matters for diet choices: the capsule shell is gelatin, which comes from animals.

BSE-free gelatin
The capsule shell. Animal-derived, so not suited to vegetarians or vegans
Rice flour
A filler that bulks out the capsule
Silicon dioxide
A flow aid that keeps powder from clumping
Magnesium stearate
A flow aid that helps the capsule machines fill evenly

Two spellings on the panel are worth knowing if you search for an ingredient. Alpha lipoic acid is printed as "Alpa Lipoic Acid", and alpha-GPC appears as "GPC Choline" with its chemical name in parentheses.

How do you check the panel on your own bottle?

Hold your bottle next to this page and work down five checks. It takes about two minutes, and a mismatch is a reason to call the order desk.

  1. Front

It should read FYVUS, NEURO RECALL, 60 Capsules and A Dietary Supplement.

  2. Serving

Serving size 2 capsules; servings per container 30.

  3. Amounts

Folate 600 mcg DFE, B12 240 mcg, magnesium 250 mg, chromium 120 mcg, blend 635 mg.

  4. Seal and storage

The safety seal should be whole. Store the bottle in a cool, dry place.

  5. Base

Note the lot number and best-before date if printed, then call +1 (302) 200-3480 if anything differs.

How the desk matches a lot to an order is on the batch check page, and the full ingredient guide is on the Neuro Recall ingredients page.

Neuro Recall Supplement Facts: common questions

Why are the blend amounts not printed on the Neuro Recall label?

The ten herbs and nutrients sit in a proprietary blend. FDA labeling rules ask only for the blend's total weight, 635 mg, with the ingredients listed from most to least by weight.

Is Neuro Recall a pill or a capsule?

A capsule. The shell is BSE-free gelatin, and the daily serving is 2 capsules.

How many capsules are in a bottle of Neuro Recall?

60 capsules, which is 30 servings of 2 capsules, or one month at the label dose.

What is the WMG-NVT Exclusive Blend?

It is the 635 mg proprietary blend in each serving: cinnamon, ginkgo, bilberry, bacopa, green tea extract, berberine, L-theanine, alpha lipoic acid, alpha-GPC, lutein and zeaxanthin. Single amounts are not printed.

Why does Neuro Recall have 10,000% of the Daily Value for B12?

Because 240 mcg is large next to the small B12 Daily Value. No upper limit is set for B12, but extra B12 helps only people who are low.

Is the 343% chromium Daily Value in Neuro Recall too much?

No upper limit has been set for chromium, and high intakes have not been linked to harm in the data available. People on diabetes medicine or with kidney or liver disease should ask a doctor first.

Is Neuro Recall vegetarian?

No. The capsule shell is BSE-free gelatin, which is made from animals. The label gives no allergen or gluten statement.

What are the other ingredients in Neuro Recall?

BSE-free gelatin for the capsule, rice flour, silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate. They hold and fill the capsule and are not listed with amounts.
